Chimney Repairs & Leadwork in Weston-super-Mare

Chimneys and the leadwork around them take the brunt of the weather, and they are a common source of roof leaks. J Jones Roofing Services repairs chimneys and roof leadwork in Weston-super-Mare and across the South West.

Because we are roofers first, we repair the chimney and the roof around it together, so the job is finished properly rather than patched.

Chimney Problems We Repair

You do not need to know what is causing the problem. Tell us what you have seen from the ground or inside the house, and we will find the cause.

Damaged Chimney Stacks

Cracked or crumbling mortar, loose masonry and damaged pots or tops all let water in and can get worse over time. We repair the affected parts of the stack.

Lead Flashing and Roof Junctions

Leadwork seals the joins where a roof meets a chimney, wall or other part of the building. Lifted, cracked or missing flashing is a common cause of leaks, and we repair or replace it as part of the surrounding roof.

Leaks and Damp Near a Chimney

Damp patches on a chimney breast or on the ceiling next to it can have more than one cause. We check the stack, the flashing and the nearby roof covering to find where the water is getting in.

Chimney Work Alongside Other Roofing

Chimney problems often sit alongside other roof issues. If tiles or other roof details nearby are also damaged, we can deal with everything at once as a roof repair. If you are planning a new roof, chimney and leadwork can be included in your re-roofing project.
